Years living/working in Wichita:

I have lived in Wichita for 10 years. Within that, I studied for four years at WSU.

In another life, I'm pretty sure I was:

I was leading a revolution, like Simon Bolivar or Emiliano Zapata.

If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd start:

A publishing company. I love books. I would also start a tequila company, called Tequila Mocking Bird.

The best piece of advice I've ever been given is:

Do not feel like you need to ‘credential up’ when entering a meeting and find that you are the youngest person or the only person of color. You’re in that meeting or space with those individuals because of your talents. You deserve to be there. Your presence has already been validated with the invitation.

When I was 5, I was pretty sure I'd be:

the President of the United States. It’s a work in progress.
