The Connect action team is responsible for connecting W members with community leaders and organizations, as well as other young professionals. Connect team members are tasked with developing unique ways for W members to make valuable professional and personal connections. Those concepts come to fruition in various forms, such as monthly networking events, showcase events, and lunch and learns.
Mission: Plan and host events that connect young professionals with community leaders, local organizations, and other young professionals.
Vision: To build the network of young professionals in Wichita where meaningful connections are created.
- Attend monthly team meetings
- Attend committee meetings as necessary
- Attend team events
- Plan or assist with planning a minimum of one event per year
The Connect team meets on the fourth Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m.
