Saturday, September 10th at the Carpenter Place campus near 13th and Meridian in Wichita. Beautiful fast, mostly flat course that runs along the river.

This annual event is hosted by ICT S.O.S. and each year all proceeds benefit a direct-service provider to at-risk youth and victims of human trafficking. This year will benefit Via Christi’s Healthcare Haven program. This program provides immediate medical care, forensic examinations, advocacy, patient follow-up and assistance with criminal justice services in an ethical and compassionate manner to victims of sexual assault and/or human trafficking.

The race is a timed event with cash prizes for top runners in each age catagory. People are welcome to run/jog/walk to their liking. There is also a family fun run and pancake feed.

Early bird registration is just $20. Create a team of 10 or more participants and get your team name printed on your race shirts. We’re also looking for race day volunteers and sponsors, please let me know if you know of anyone who’s interested!
