Join the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for the Black History Month’s keynote speaker, Tim Wise, an anti-racist activist, essayist and author. He is among the most prominent anti-racist writer and educator in the United States. Named one of “25 Visionaries Who Are Changing Your World,” by Utne Reader, Wise has spoken in all 50 states, on over 800 college and high school campuses and to the community groups across the nation. Wise is the author of seven books, including his latest, Under the Affluence: Shaming the Poor, Praising the Rich and Sacrificing the Future of America. Other books include, Dear White America: Letter to a New Minority and his highly acclaimed memoir, White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Sun.
Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. on the evening of his speaking engagement and the program will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex.

FREE for WSU students, faculty and staff and $5 for general admission.
TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

General admission tickets are available in the WSU Bookstore. WSU students, faculty and staff can pick up their tickets from either WSU Bookstore or the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (Rhatigan Student Center ste. 208).
