FreeYou have an opportunity to be part of an important initiative to help shape the future of our great community. This is your chance to tell us what you think about the new proposed Community Investments Plan for Wichita-Sedgwick County. This new policy plan addresses key community issues related to the future of our road, water, sewer, public safety, and quality of life infrastructure and facilities. This Plan will help guide long-term Wichita growth, set community investment priorities, and guide public infrastructure spending decisions for the next 20 years.
You can tell us your thoughts about the Community Investments Plan by participating in the following ways:
- We will be holding four informal come-and-go community open houses in April and May, 2015. These meetings will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the following Wichita locations. Please drop by and visit one at your convenience.
- April 27th – Alford Library, 3447 S. Meridian St., Wichita
- May 4th – City Arts, 334 N. Mead St., Wichita
- May 11th – WSU Metroplex, Room 138, 5015 E. 29th Street N., Wichita
- May 18th – Sedgwick County Extension Office, Sunflower Room, 7001 W. 21st Street N., Wichita
- If you wish to participate through social media, Activate Wichita will provide a summary of the plan and opportunities for you to give feedback starting April 27, 2015. Just Google Activate Wichita.
- Finally, the draft Plan is available for you to access and read at www.communityinvestmentsplan.org
