What happens at Cowtown when the sun goes down and the lamps come on? Well, now you’ll get to discover the answer for yourself during the whole month of August as we shift our hours to the evenings.

Cowtown will be open from 2-9pm Tuesday through Saturday and 4-9pm on Sundays. During this time, we will have our interpreters and volunteers going about the regular chores and activities of the 1875 night life. The Delano district will come alive as we explore the darker side of early Wichita.

We’ll have activities for a wide range of people. We’ll have alcohol available certain nights and bands will come out to perform. We will also have family movie nights. And as always, we’ll have gunfights with some cowboys! So get ready to experience Cowtown like you never have before!
