First Thursday – Beer Cure!

Thu, Jun 6 · 4:00p 6:00p

Beer Cure – Historical Museum in Heritage Square Thursday, June 6, 4-6pm.
One hundred years ago alcoholics attempted beer cures to wean themselves from addiction to hard drink such as absinthe, whisky, or port wine. The Historical Museum invites you to sample these potent poisons then take the beer cure – courtesy of proud Museum supporters Aero Plains Brewing. As an option, the Museum also offers lemonade and the opportunity to sign a temperance pledge document. Access to this special event is through the Museum’s Main Street entrance and only by using the passwords “Nation’s Hatchet.”
