The Friends of the Keeper, Inc. seeks to preserve, promote, and pass on traditional tribal teachings so that generations to come will be able to honor them correctly.

Although this organization has a long and rich history, they are currently declining in support from our community. Young Professionals of Wichita would like to increase exposure to this organization, as well as their important mission.

YPW’s Mosaic action team, a group celebrating Wichita’s cultural heritage and diversity, is currently looking for volunteers for The Friends of the Keeper’s 40th anniversary celebration on May 17 and May 18. These volunteers will work 3-hour increments, either assisting with raffle tickets or the concession stand.
