The 5k is the culminating achievement for hundred of girls who have completed our nationally-recognized after-school program. Girls are joined by parents, coaches, friends, and community runners in a fun celebration of health, wellness, and girl power! All GOTR Sedgwick County 5k events are open to the public. You do not need to be a GOTR program participant girl to participate! All finishers receive a 5k finishers medal, and a 5k gift. Everyone who crosses the finish line is a winner. Kick off Mother’s Day weekend with the Spring Girls on the Run 5k! This is Wichita’s premier women’s only running event! This event draws over 1300 mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends each year.
