FreeThe ICT Iron Golfer Challenge is a golf-a-thon, with all proceeds benefiting Raise My Head Foundation’s mission: Helping victims of sex trafficking gain independence and a new life by providing survivors a safe place to live while they learn the job and life skills they never had the chance to acquire. Learn more about the Foundation and its good work at raisemyhead.org.
The event is just what it sounds like. The Foundation is asking local golfers to recruit pledges, then see how many holes they can play in a day. If you register on the event’s website, ictirongolfer.dojiggy.com, recruiting pledges is a breeze!
All golfers will receive a goodie bag with a new golf umbrella and other useful items. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the course, as well as water and snacks throughout the day.
The ICT Iron Golfer Challenge will take place on June 2nd at Hidden Lakes Golf Course in Derby, with a starting tee time of 7:30 a.m. and golfing running until at least 5:30 p.m. A short awards reception will follow the event. The event’s Honorary Chairman, Chief Gordon Ramsay, will be present to greet and thank the golfers and the Foundaiton will hand out prizes–such as a $200 gift certificate from Grene Vision Group, new clubs, 4 free rounds of golf at Willowbend Golf Club, and much more–for scoring related awards.
