Experience Wichita’s biggest party, Riverfest, and meet interns from other companies at the Summer Intern Kickoff on June 7 starting at 5:30 p.m. 

Whether you have a competitive spirit, savor delicious food, or enjoy live music, this event offers exciting options to experience Wichita’s local scene. Enjoy a live Riverfest concert while mingling with other interns in an exclusive tent with complimentary food, water and soda along with a cash bar for those 21 and over.

5:30 p.m. – Registration

Attendees must RSVP and have a Riverfest button to enter.

6 p.m. – Cardboard Regatta Team competition

Arm yourself with duct tape, cardboard and pool noodles as you compete in a cardboard regatta competition. The competition will start at 6:00 p.m. Teams will have one hour to design and build their boats. At 7:00 p.m. teams will test their boat’s seaworthiness in the Arkansas River. Not into getting splashed? Participating in the regatta competition is optional – indicate your preferred role when you RSVP.

5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. – Live Concert

Enjoy sounds from Skinny Slim & The Fat Tuesday Brass Band, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio and ZZ Ward for the duration of the event.

This event is free – all you’ll need is a Riverfest button and to RSVP.
