TFA & Backwoods present Mountainfilm On Tour, featuring a short film showcase of documentary films that explore the themes of exploring cultures, preserving environments and promoting adventure. The hosted program takes place on Thursday, March 12 at 7:00 pm at the Venue 332 at the Wichita Scottish Rite (332 E. 1st Street.)

Mountainfilm on Tour shares a selection of the films from the annual festival with audiences around the globe. Year-round and worldwide, the tour reaches some 40,000 people on five continents. Telluride Mountainfilm festival is a four-day event held each Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado. Since 1979, the festival has attracted leading documentary filmmakers, artists, photographers, conservationists, mountaineers, scientists, journalists and explorers from around the world to engage in the festival’s motto of “celebrating indomitable spirit.”
