The New Volunteer training is designed to inform and educate new and prospective Action Team members on how to most effectively contribute to YPW as a volunteer. During this training important topics such as YPW history, how to negotiate, description of teams, meeting other volunteers and much more will be covered. All new volunteers who plan to or have recently joined an action team are required to attend a New Volunteer training before officially being able to plan events and projects.

Registrants of YPW events agree to allow YPW and its official photographer(s) to photograph them in the context of the event. Footage captured by the official YPW photographer may be posted on social media, shared with media outlets, and/or used in future print and electronic promotional materials.
