The Board Placement Program (for YPW members only) is a two-part series and we ask that you attend both events to get the full scope of responsibilities required to sit on a Board and to network with participating nonprofits. The first event is this Board Placement 101; the second, the Board Placement Speed Networking event (scheduled for January 29). We ask that all interested members attend a 101 event prior to attending the Speed Networking.

Have you thought about applying for a Board position, but weren’t sure what it would entail?  YPW’s Leadership Link presents a dynamic panel of YPs with Board experience to explain what you can expect and what you can gain from such service. The panel will give their advice and share their own personal experiences sitting on nonprofit boards across the city.
