Still not sure what there is to do in Wichita after work? Join us at the Old Town Scavenger Hunt to explore Wichita’s busiest after hours neighborhood!

We’ll provide the clues, the map, and the meeting place. You put on your adventure hat, grab your friends and your selfie sticks, and join us to learn about food, drinks, art, and culture in Old Town Wichita. Once you return, we’ll have a taco bar to reward you for a job well done.

Timeline for the evening:
5:30 p.m. – Mingle begins – Meet at Joe’s Old Town Bar & Grill
6:00 p.m. – Scavenger hunt begins
6:45 p.m. – Return to Joe’s (points will be deducted for tardiness!)
7:15 p.m. – Announce results

Interested in mingling but not participating in the scavenger hunt? Join us and cheer on the teams as they compete to be the Old Town Scavenger Hunt Champs!

This event is FREE and open only to interns at YPW Corporate Investors or those who are registered Intern Return participants. If you’re not sure whether you are already signed up for the program, please check with your internship coordinator or contact Suzy Finn at (316) 268-1170.

Parking: There is parking available in the lot just north of Joe’s, as well as at the southeast corner of 1st and Washington.

Attire: Wear or bring comfortable shoes today. You’ll be walking around Old Town for about 45 minutes, so be prepared for that!

All eligible interns who register by 5 p.m. Monday, July 6 will be entered to win fabulous door prizes that will help you explore Wichita throughout the summer, including passes to the Sedgwick County Zoo and tickets to see Lady Antebellum at INTRUST Bank Arena on July 25. Must be present at the event to win.
