Are you curious about what it takes to plan the biggest festival of the year? Join us at the next YPW Lunch & Learn as we get a behind the scenes look at what goes into planning the Wichita Riverfest.

From the beginning, the goal of the Wichita Riverfest has been to bring the entire community together, to build community pride and focus on Wichita’s beautiful natural resource, the Arkansas River. We will hear two people who plan this event with those goals in mind: Mary Beth Jarvis, President of Wichita Festivals and Admiral Windwagon Smith XLII – Mike Greene. They are both experts on the 9 day festival that has been part of Wichita for more than 40 years.

noon -1 p.m.: Presentation from Mary Beth Jarvis & Mike Greene
