STILL looking for a great way to give back? On November 14, join YPW at the Kansas Food Bank where we will helping sort canned and dry food products along with other items for those in need this season. The mission of the Kansas Food Bank involves providing hunger-relief whenever and wherever it is needed throughout their 85-county service area. Annually, they provide a meal to over 215,000 Kansans.

Things to Note:

• The temperature in the warehouse varies by season, so please dress accordingly. Please wear closed-toe shoes, such as sneakers, to protect your feet as they do not allow any open-toe shoes in the warehouse. Please do not wear loose jewelry during your volunteer shift.
• Only bottled water is allowed in the warehouse.
• There is a limited area for storing personal belongings, so please leave most in your car or at home.
• Parking: Volunteers should park inside the fenced area on the east side of the building, along the fence facing the highway.

REGISTER – Registration closes November 12. This is a limited-registration event for 25 YPs. If there is no “register” button on the next page, the event is full. Please check back closer to the event in case there have been cancellations.

Registrants of YPW events agree to allow YPW and its official photographer(s) to photograph them in the context of the event. Footage captured by the official YPW photographer may be posted on social media, shared with media outlets, and/or used in future print and electronic promotional materials.
