Wichita’s Next Mayor

In November we elected a new Mayor, Brandon Whipple. Join us for a conversation over lunch with the Mayor-elect about his plans for our community once he takes office.

At 21 years old, Brandon started his journey of public service by accepting a year-long AmeriCorps mission to work with at-risk students at South High in Wichita. In 2012, Brandon was elected to the Kansas State House and has since served as the ranking member on the Commerce, Labor and Economic Development Committee.

Brandon was recently elected Mayor of the biggest city in Kansas on a platform of working to ensure Wichita is a place of opportunity for his kids and the next generation.
