Who is the person you would most like to go to lunch with and why?

I would love to have lunch with President Barack Obama. I would love to pick his brain to find out how he was able to balance being a father, husband, president, world leader and humanitarian while keeping his integrity in the midst of opposition and challenge for a full 8 years without an inkling of a scandal.

What has been your favorite YPW experience?

I am eternally grateful to YPW for some of the relationships birthed and opportunities created in this City. My greatest experience was being able to participate in Leadership Academy which allowed me to learn several different leadership styles and approaches and also how to apply those styles for work, mentorship, and volunteer opportunities.

What advice do you wish you would have known in college?

I wish someone would have told me that sometimes the major chosen is sometimes not where you will spend the rest of your life employed. Sometimes, you won’t find that genuine purpose until college is over and it’s ok if your purpose and your major doesn’t match up. Purpose is always better to fulfill than the curriculum.
