Wichita’s Young Professionals to be honored at 2024 Game Changers Gala
W – A Community of Young Professionals is thrilled to announce this year’s honorees for the 2024 Game Changers Gala, celebrating exceptional achievements, leadership and impact within Wichita’s young professional community.
The Game Changers Gala on November 7 will shine a spotlight on individuals and organizations that have made notable contributions to the growth of Wichita’s young professional community. These outstanding honorees exemplify the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship and community engagement that define our city.

2024 Game Changer Honorees
Momentum Award – Dallas Owen, Iron Insurance Partners
This award is presented to a distinguished member of the Wichita and W community, recognized for their unwavering commitment to serving and advancing the city through their time, service and talents. They are fearless leaders who inspire fellow young professionals to unite and strategically work towards a brighter future.
Community Catalyst Award – Kyle Ellison, Khan Lab Schools
This award recognizes a young professional who has made unique and noteworthy contributions to their business or profession through creativity and innovation, such as revitalizing or modernizing a business, successfully launching a new venture or introducing groundbreaking ideas.
Exemplify Award – Choose Wichita & WSU Tech
This award is given to organizations, businesses, nonprofits, or groups that excel in attracting, retaining and developing young professionals in the Wichita community. They provide opportunities for growth and cultivate a supportive environment for young talent to thrive.
Thomas Stanley Legacy Award – Kara Hunt, Delta Dental of Kansas, Inc.
This legacy award is named in honor of Thomas Stanley, a former board member and volunteer. It is presented to an individual who has demonstrated long-standing support for W and has been a historical champion for the organization. Like Thomas Stanley, they set a high standard and believe in the potential of all young professionals to elevate our community.
