2023 Game Changers Gala Honorees Announced
W – A Community of Young Professionals is proud to announce this year’s honorees for the Game Changers Gala, which celebrates outstanding achievements, dedication and leadership within Wichita’s young professional community.
The Game Changers Gala on November 1 will recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the growth and vibrancy of Wichita. These remarkable honorees embody the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship and community engagement that define our city.

2023 Game Changer Honorees
Momentum Award – James Cox, Greater Wichita Partnership
The recipient of this award is a distinguished member of the Wichita and W community, recognized for their unwavering commitment to serving and preserving the city through their time, service and talents. They are fearless leaders who inspire their fellow young professionals to come together and strategically advance the community towards a brighter future.
Community Catalyst Award – Maddie Butler, Kent Audio Visual
This award recognizes a young professional who has made unique and noteworthy contributions to their business or profession through creativity and innovation, such as reinvigorating or modernizing a business, successfully launching a new enterprise or introducing new ideas.
Exemplify Award – Create Campaign & Lead for America
Presented to an organization, business, non-profit or group that excels in attracting, retaining and developing young professionals in the Wichita community. They provide opportunities for growth and foster a supportive environment for young talent to thrive.
Thomas Stanley Legacy Award – Ellen Decker, Adams Brown
This legacy award was named in honor of Thomas Stanley, a former board member and volunteer. It is awarded to an individual who has shown long-standing support for W and historically champions the organization. Like Thomas Stanley, they raise the heat and believe that we can all be better.

Game Changers Gala allows us to celebrate some of those achievements, said Samantha Camden, W Program Manager. “We believe it is essential to celebrate our young professionals and recognize organizations that excel in their efforts to attract, retain and engage young professionals in the Wichita community.”
