Seeing To The Future
Wichita is at a crossroads. There are many exciting projects going on and many more things in the works. In particular, Wichita’s downtown corridor is undergoing a massive change – a new library, a new baseball stadium, a riverfront master plan, and a possible new convention center and performing arts center. All of which have the potential to dramatically improve the city for decades to come. These are exciting times to be in Wichita and to plan for the future.
The first step to getting engaged is learning about the initiatives being planned. The second step is knowing who to engage in conversation. Friday, May 3rd, you have the opportunity to connect with community leaders and educate yourself on initiatives being planned including possibilities for Century II.
We won’t all agree on everything, but discussion is better than disengagement. Let’s tackle the tough conversations head on and make Wichita the place that we want it to be, and that others want to be as well. There is so much potential to do great things for the city of Wichita in the next few years. Let your voice be heard.
