Why did you join YPW?

I joined YPW because I saw it as a great opportunity to be involved in the community. Additionally, it’s a great way to network with other young professionals.

Why should others from your profession join?

In the world of higher education, staff and faculty members are passionate about helping students achieve their academic and personal objectives. The YPW College Connection team helps students achieve these goals. The Mentor program aids students in connecting with professionals in their desired field of study. Additionally, the Intern Return program introduces students to the city of Wichita and what it has to offer newly college graduates. By joining this team as a higher education professional, a person can help their students become connected with YPW’s programs. Also, it’s a great way to interact with others in our vocation. We often share resources and discuss topics that are related to the education field.
